Quick and easy -project-specific information

Considerable advances have already been made: 3D space use has been successfully determined for white-tailed eagle, white stork, black kite, honey buzzard, and eastern imperial eagle. For these species, results are currently being validated in close collaboration with leading experts. Moreover, by integrating high-resolution telemetry data with camera and laser range finder (LRF) measurements and operational data from wind turbines, we are able to derive robust insights into species-specific avoidance behaviour.

For marsh harrier, Montagu’s harrier, and hen harrier, initial evaluations of the data are already underway. This transparent and reproducible approach guarantees scientifically sound results – without relying on a “black box.” For all remaining species, clear and standardized calculation procedures will be made available within RKR-PRO by mid-October.
